MANIFESTATION TO SOCIAL ACTION

In Rajasthan there are many cultural, social, and economic barriers faced by women. I felt the need for a collective effort to improve the lives of women who might not have had an education due to early marriage or pulled out of school at a young age due to financial constraints. PDKF has sown the seeds of social entrepreneurship by training hundreds of women in various income generation skills, forming self-help groups (SHGs) and connecting them to various Government schemes. We provide training in stitching and handicrafts, facilitate health initiatives, promote education for girls, bring agricultural knowledge, and skill building in to create livelihoods

In response to the current pandemic, we have launched a community health initiative, ‘CoAid’ to provide relief. We are distributing meal kits to families of COVID positive patients, and medical supplies and essentials to those impacted and in need.

I welcome individuals and organizations to join hands with us and support PDKF programs in any way they can; working together we can make a difference.
